Prague Free Time (Monday 15th September)

Today, our last day in Prague, is another free day.
Many of the group convened at breakfast, with the main topic of conversation being the Air France strike that disrupted the flights of those departing from Prague tomorrow morning!  (UPDATE:  Those traveling back home arrived safely back into Washington Dulles on their rearranged flights)
During the day the group dispersed, most (or all?) making their way back up to the Castle at some point to use their tickets to see the beautiful glass of St. Vitus' Cathedral & the quaint houses of Golden Lane.
We regrouped this evening before riding the tram & then a funicular/cog-railway/incline half-way up Petrin Hill to our 'Farewell from Prague' dinner restaurant.

(Our official photographer made sure to record the moment)

The view was great whilst it was still light, with the castle, cathedral & indeed the entire city  in the distance...

But it became really spectacular once it was dark!

We even had a birthday to celebrate!

Back at the hotel we sadly had to say goodbye to six of our number who are departing tomorrow morning for the US.
