Some headed to Schonbrunn Palace, the 'Summer Palace' of the Habsburgs outside the city center, other visited the Belvedere, former palace of Eugene of Savoy & now one of the city's top art galleries with a collection including many masterpieces by Gustav Klimt.
We all rendezvoused this evening for a highlight of the trip entitled 'A Tribute to Vienna'. This evening performance featured the Vienna Boys Choir & the Lippizaner stallions of the Spanish Riding School, two of Vienna's most renowned performing 'groups', in one short show.
Afterwards the group split to go in different directions for dinner, some finding a cosy 'pub' in the city center before heading home through the atmospheric city streets.
